Paris Jackson’s Suicide Attempt Was A Cry For Help

Paris Jackson

Michael Jackson’s 15-year-old daughter, Paris Jackson, made headlines everywhere yesterday when she was rushed to the hospital for a suicide attempt.  According to reports, she was wheeled out of her home on a stretcher with two slits on her wrists. Paris called a suicide hotline that night, and they dispatched emergency crews to her home.

She is “physically fine” and currently recovering in the hospital.  Her grandmother Katherine and aunt La Toya Jackson have both released statements requesting privacy for their family while they get past this.

However, new reports are speculating that Paris never intended to kill herself but was just crying out for some attention.  While sources close to her family and even her mother, Debbie Rowe, reveal that the suicide attempt resulted from Paris being extremely depressed lately and not being able to sleep; others don’t believe this is the case.

According to TMZ, the police who responded to the 911 call are saying this was all done for attention.  TMZ reports:

“She wanted attention,” one source involved in the case tells us. Her call to a suicide hotline is compelling evidence “she wanted to be saved.” The source added, “It makes no sense if you really want to die to call a hotline, where the person on the other end will get an ambulance over to your house.”

One source connected with the case tells us, “She’s into the drama.”

Whatever the case may be, it’s obvious that this young lady needs help.  Whether or not she was depressed or crying out for attention, she still attempted to take her own life and actually slit her wrist and took about 20 ibuprofen pills.

In the last four years since Michael Jackson died, Paris and her siblings have remained in the public eye and have had to deal with multiple lawsuits and trials related to his death.  That would be a lot for any teenager to deal with.

Before her suicide attempt, Paris posted a couple of cryptic tweets to her Twitter account that may have been clues to her suicide attempt.  See below:

I hate to say it, but the media scrutiny is only going to get worse for her after this incident.

We wish her a speedy recovery!
