METRO DETROIT: Crack’em Up Wednesdays

Crackem Up Weds1

If you’re looking for something fun to do in the Metro Detroit area other than the typical dinner and a movie, why not check out a comedy show?!

Last Wednesday, the ladies of 5 P!NK AVE were invited to the Crack’em Up Wednesdays Comedy Show at the Jazz Cafe inside of The Music Hall in downtown Detroit.  Needless to say, we had a ball, laughed all night, and sipped on some specialty drinks like the Crack’em Up Martini.

The show was hosted by Detroit’s own Mike Bonner and there was a total of six comedians that took the stage that night; Elvis Mijic, J Bell, Darius Bennett, Melvin “MelMan” Bender, Horcse “HG” Sanders, and Martini Harris was the headliner.

The shows are held once a month, and you don’t want to miss out.  The next show will be on Wednesday, May 29th, and it’s also the one-year anniversary of Crack’em Up Wednesdays.  The anniversary show will feature comedians Mary Anne Demoss, Ron Taylor, Jay Will and Tony Baker.  Get your tickets now!!

For more information, you can visit FlyStarEntertainment.com or check them out on Twitter @crackemupweds.

I can’t forget to shine the spotlight on Kay Clemons and Dawn Murdock for putting this successful event on every month.  #BlackGirlsRock!!!
