FAR CRY 3

Far Cry 3

Are you tired of your significant other playing the video game or looking for a game you can play together? Do you feel left out but can’t find a game that you can play? No worries. Far Cry 3 is one of the best games I’ve played since Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I get it, there aren’t a lot of female “gamers” out there and I personally wouldn’t consider myself to be a gamer, but I do like video games and I love to play with my hubby.

Far Cry 3 has a great storyline about a group of friends who’ve gone on a vacation to an exotic island and ultimately get kidnapped by a group of pirates. You’re a shooter and explorer in this game. It’s like a modern day Skyrim. If you are a fan of that game, it’s a cross between Skyrim, Hitman and Unchartered. The scenery in the game is stunning and there are lots of side quests you can perform. You can travel the island using various types of transportation, play in CO-OP mode, story mode and even multi-player mode which means you can play by yourself, with the family or online with strangers. You have the option to hunt, craft and the takedowns in the game are pretty cool as well.

Ubisoft did a great job with the graphics making the animals look realistic. I must admit; I’m hooked on this game! This isn’t a game you want to sleep on with at least 30 hours of play time; you won’t feel cheated that you’ve dropped $40-60 bucks (depending on the console) and if you can get it pre-owned; even better it’ll save you a couple bucks!

Far Cry 3 is available on the PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 consoles. This is a mature game and I would not recommend it at all for children or young teens. It’s loaded with violence, profanity, gambling and other suggestive behavior. I would give this game 10/10. Awesome game! Far Cry 3 has me waiting in anticipation for Far Cry 4!
