HIB LaLa Anthony Terrence J

Last night, Russell Simmons, LaLa Anthony and Terrence J hosted the second Hip-Hop Inaugural Ball to celebrate the re-election of President Barack Obama.  The event was held at the Harmen Center in Washington D.C.  To attend the party, tickets were $500 for general admission and $1000 for VIP.  Ouch!!  If you were lucky enough to attend, the ball was full of celebrities.

John Legend was honored and presented with the Humanitarian Award.  Also honored were hip hop pioneers MC Lyte and Doug E. Fresh, who were presented with Lifetime Achievement Awards.  Other honorees included Swizz Beats, Meek Mill, Rosario Dawson and 2 Chainz.  See below for some photos from the ball:
